CAD design for labs and clinics
Crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and veneers, bars, implant frameworks and full-arch restorations, smile design, surgical guides, splints and models, every file ready for its material and machine.
CAD designDental technician, CAD trainer and developer, Bolzano
I design, I teach and I build software for the digital work of a dental laboratory. I came up at the bench before I moved to the screen, so every case, course and tool starts from how the work behaves in the mouth.
Background
I trained as a dental technician in Bolzano and learned the craft by hand before I learned it on screen. That still shapes how I look at a case: a restoration has to seat, function and last in the mouth, whatever it looks like on a monitor.
When digital work arrived I made it my specialty and became a certified instructor for exocad and Blender for Dental. From design it grew into 3D printing, prototyping and software, and today I work with labs and clinics worldwide.
Method
Every restoration is made twice: first in the file, then in the material. I approach software and prototypes the same way, so every project goes through the same three steps.
Before designing I check scans, bite, margins and the order. Before writing code I look at how the lab works today. Anything unclear goes back as a question before the work starts.
Restorations are built in exocad or Blender for Dental with the parameters of the material and machine that will actually be used. Software is built around the people who will use it every day.
Before export I check thickness, contacts, occlusion and insertion axis. Apps and prototypes are tested before they are handed over, and released software comes with a changelog.
What I do
The four areas often meet in the same laboratory. A CAD case can lead to a training plan for the team, a printing workflow or a small program that removes a manual step.
Crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and veneers, bars, implant frameworks and full-arch restorations, smile design, surgical guides, splints and models, every file ready for its material and machine.
CAD designCourses for dental technicians and professionals, from the first steps in the software to complex indications, taught as an exocad Certified Trainer and Blender for Dental Accredited Instructor.
TrainingCalibrated MSLA resin workflows for models, splints, guides and try-ins, and functional prototypes for dental products, jigs, fixtures and lab tooling.
3D printingDesktop and mobile apps, websites and automations for laboratories and clinics, from cost tracking to asset management, together with research work on 3D reconstruction in dentistry.
DevelopmentI am a dental technician myself, so we speak the same language about a bridge, a course or a piece of software. You get direct contact with the person doing the work, reliable turnaround and one point of contact from the first case onward.
Send the scans, or book a short call to talk through a case, a workflow, a training plan or a software idea.
