How to send intraoral scans to my lab from scanner portals

Send intraoral scans to a dental lab from Sirona Connect, 3Shape Communicate, Medit Link, Shining 3D Dental Cloud or exocad dentalshare, step by step.

Most intraoral scanners come with a cloud portal that sends a scan directly to a lab. Once you add me as a partner, every following case leaves the scanner software in one step, without manual exports or email attachments. This page shows how to connect the most common portals so you can send intraoral scans to my lab.

Before you start, check that your scanner license allows sending cases to an external lab. If it does not, get in touch and we will find another route.

The platforms list me as Vladyslav Pereverzyev, email info@vladpereverzyev.com, postal code 39100 (Bolzano, Italy). Portal menus change from time to time. If a label differs from the one described here, search by name or email and you will reach the same result.

Dentsply Sirona Connect Case Center

  1. Log in at customer.connectcasecenter.com.
  2. Open My Favorite Recipients and click Search Recipient.
  3. Search by country (Italy) or postal code (39100), then click Start Search.
  4. In the results, click the orange + next to Vladyslav Pereverzyev.
  5. The lab now appears under Recipients at the top of the page, and the connection is active.

3Shape Communicate

  1. Log in at portal.3shapecommunicate.com with your Communicate account.
  2. Click Connections at the top of the page, then Add Connection.
  3. Search for Vladyslav Pereverzyev or info@vladpereverzyev.com.
  4. Select the lab and click Connect. You can add a short message to the request.
  5. The lab appears in your scanner software once the request is accepted.
  1. Log in at meditlink.com with the administrator account.
  2. Open Partners in the left menu.
  3. Search by lab name (Vladyslav Pereverzyev), email (info@vladpereverzyev.com) or postal code (39100). With Show Map enabled, the results appear on a map.
  4. Click Request Partnership, review the terms and click Confirm.
  5. The lab appears under My Partner List as Partnership Pending and changes to Partnership once accepted.

Shining 3D Dental Cloud

  1. Log in at dental3dcloud.com.
  2. Open Connections and click New on the right.
  3. Search for Vladyslav Pereverzyev.
  4. Click + and confirm to create the connection.

exocad dentalshare

  1. Log in at dentalshare.
  2. Open My Contacts.
  3. Search with login vladpereverzyev and group exocad, or search by email with info@vladpereverzyev.com.
  4. Send the contact request. The connection is active once it is accepted.

Sending scans without a portal

If your scanner is not listed, get in touch before sending anything and we agree on a channel covered by a data processing agreement. Patient data is never sent by email, WhatsApp, WeTransfer or the Dropbox upload link: these channels are only for files without patient data, such as libraries or settings.

Send PLY, OBJ or STL files with a short note: tooth numbers, restoration type, material, and any shade or margin details. The intraoral scan checklist lists everything that helps, and STL vs PLY vs OBJ explains which format to choose.

Case data and privacy

With a scanner portal (Dentsply Sirona Connect, 3Shape Communicate, Medit Link, Shining 3D Dental Cloud or exocad dentalshare), the files pass through that provider’s service and are processed under its own terms and privacy policy, which the account holder (usually the sending clinic) accepts. For any patient data the sending clinic or laboratory stays the data controller; I process the files only to carry out the case, as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR, and a signed data processing agreement is available on request. Please send files pseudonymized (a case code instead of the patient’s name), and see how case files are handled in the privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a special license to send scans to an external lab?

Some scanner licenses limit sending cases to external labs. Check your scanner contract or ask the scanner distributor before connecting a new lab.

Which files should I send if my scanner has no portal?

Export the scans as PLY or OBJ with color, or as STL, and get in touch before sending them. We agree on a channel covered by a data processing agreement first.

How long does it take to connect a scanner portal?

A few minutes. After the connection request is accepted, every following case can be sent from the scanner software in one step.
